After years at our local pet groomer, Tigger’s nail trimming anxiety got him sent to the vet. The thought of him being sedated at the vets for a simple nail trim didn't sit well with us. So, I enrolled in a pet grooming course to learn effective techniques for easing Tigger's anxiety.

With newfound knowledge, my husband and I worked with Tigger, employing positive reinforcement and gentle handling to transform nail trim times from trauma to triumph - no sedation needed. 

This experience inspired me to start Curly Tails, a grooming service focused on providing a calm, customised experience for pets. The name is a tribute to Tigger, whose tail gets curlier the happier he is - and I want all the pets in my care to feel as happy and well-groomed as Tigger.
